RECENT RECIPIENTS

The Mabel O. Cooper Scholarship Fund gave 2 new scholarships this year. Both recipients will received renewable scholarships for four year. Lauren Martinez (left) was awarded $1,500 a year and Sheryl Davis (right) was awarded $1,200 a year. Fred and Susan Smith helped present both awards.

The Jerry and Arlene Davis Scholarship Fund gave 2 new scholarships this year. Mitzy Minton was awarded a $5,000 renewable scholarship to attend East Carolina University for a total of $20,000 to help with college expenses. Michael Gregory was awarded a one time award of $5,000 to Universal Technical Institute. Mr. and Mrs. Davis helped present both awards.

The Outer Banks Community Foundation presented 18 scholarship awards totaling $28,650 to 19 students at the First Flight High School Senior Awards ceremony.

The Outer Banks Community Foundation manages Scholarship Funds that presented a total of $27,050 in 17 awards to 10 graduating seniors at the Manteo High School Senior Scholarship Awards ceremony.

The Outer Banks Community Foundation manages scholarship funds that gave four awards to graduating seniors at Currituck County High School. From left to right, Matthew Bishop received a $1,000 scholarship from the Peggy O'Brien Scholarship Fund, Jessica Meidinger received a $1,100 scholarship from the Lucian Griffin Scholarship Fund and a $500 scholarship from the Duck Woods Ladies Tennis Association Scholarship Fund, and Sam Johnson received a $2,000 scholarship from the Founders SCholarship Fund created by the Duck Woods Ladies Golf Association.
