A donor who wishes to help the community but does not want to choose a specific area can establish an undesignated fund. These funds allow flexibility for the Foundation’s Board of Directors to award grants to help meet the most pressing needs on the Outer Banks. The fund can be named to honor and give permanent recognition to loved ones.

Anyone can make a contribution to any undesignated fund at any time. The contributions are added to the fund’s principal and used for future grant awards.
