"The Outer Banks Community Foundation was organized in October 1982 as a public charity to meet local needs in the Outer Banks area not ordinarily within the province of other charitable organizations, religious institutions, or government."

Be a Member and be a part of something bigger than us all!

The Outer Banks is a vast network of caring individuals and responsive nonprofits that make this a truly amazing place to live. When Hurricane Irene shook our community we were honored to be the donation center for disaster relief and recovery on the Outer Banks giving 100% of all disaster relief and recovery funds back to our community.  We could not do this without members like you.  We are proud to be a solid foundation for our community to rely on during the ups and downs of life.  I encourage you to be a 2011 Member of the Outer Banks Community Foundation.  Be a part of something bigger than us all!

                                                                                    Sincerely,

Skipper Hines, President of the Board of Directors
